| 1. | A large number of hairs grow from the gaster, mesonotum, pronotum and propodeum.
| 2. | The holotype has an overall body length of approximately with finely scattered setae on all parts except the notum and propodeum.
| 3. | Unlike the other species, it has only one central hair on the front of its clypeus and its propodeum is rounded.
| 4. | In profile " H . cerberus " has a mesonotum showing distinct metapleural glands and a propodeum which is rounded.
| 5. | These include a prominent and projecting scutellum which, coupled with the metanotum and propodeum, form a vertical and flat thorax.
| 6. | The basal area of the Propodeum, not slanting in profile, is only half of the length of the vertical posterior surface.
| 7. | The related extinct halictid genus " Eickwortapis " has a longer basal area on the Propodeum and it does slant in profile.
| 8. | In hymenopterans of the suborder Apocrita ( wasps, bees and ants ), it consists of the three abdominal segment ( the propodeum ).
| 9. | At the front of the petiole there is a narrow attachment area to the propodeum, while the rear is flared into a large attachment to the gaster.
| 10. | A lobe of the propodeum projects over the middle coxae . The propodeum has few ridges ( carinae ), and the face is described as goat-like.
