In his Life of Ramakrishna , he says . ” . .. many souls who are or who believe they are free from all religious belief , but who in reality live immersed in a state of super-rational consciousness , which they term Socialism , Communism , Humanitarian-ism , Nationalism and even Rationalism . वह अपनी पुस्तक ' लाइफ आफ रामकृष्ण ' में लिखते हैं-बहुत से व्यक़्ति ऐसे हैं , जो सभी तरह की धार्मिक आस्थाओं से मुक़्त हैं और अपने को ऐसा ही समझते हैं , लेकिन इन लोगों में असलियत में एक अति बौद्धिक चेतना व्याप्त रहती है , जिसे वे समाजवाद , साम्यवाद , मानवतावाद , राष्ट्रवाद और यहां तक कि बुद्धिवाद भी कहते हैं .
