” Know this that the atma is the master sitting in the chariot of the body ; reason is the driver , intellect the rein ; senses are the horses and objects the road . “ यह जानें आत्मा शरीर के रथ पर बैठी हुई अधिपति है ; कारण चालक है , बुद्धि नकेल , इंद्रियां घोड़े तथा उद्देश्य सड़क है . ”

Further , Nisesa , i.e . lord of the night , Nakshatmnatha , i.e . lord of the lunar stations , Dvijesvara , i.6 . lord of the Brahmins , Sitamsu , i.e . having a cold ray , because the moon 's globe is watery , which is a blessing to the earth . इसके अलावा नि : शेष अर्थात रात्रि का अधिपति , नक्षत्रनाथ अर्थात नक्षत्रों का स्वामी , द्विजेश्वर अर्थात् ब्राह्मणों का स्वामी , शीतांशु अर्थात शीत किरणवाला क़्योंकि चंद्रमा का मंडल जलीय है जो पृथ्वी के लिए वरदान है .
