This disease is characterised by rise in temperature and bleeding from the mucous membranes . इस रोग में तापमान बढ़ जाता है और श्लेष्मक झिल्लियों से खून निकलने लगता है .

The usual indications of heat in a sow are loss of appetite , restlessness , heavy or enlarged vulva , and a light mucous discharge . सूअरी के गर्मी में आने के सामान्य लक्षण हैं : भूख का कम होना , बेचैनी , भारी अथवा फैली भग , हल्का श्लेष्मक स्राव .

The chief signs of approaching parturition in a cow or buffalo are diminished appetite , the genital opening is congested and swollen with yellowish mucous discharge . प्रसवकाल के निकट आने के मुख़्य लक्षण हैं : भूख कम होना , प्रजननछिद्र की संकुलता तथा सूजन और उसमें से पीले रंग का श्लेष्मक प्रस्राव .

Each morning she goes forth among trees , returns with globules of the oozing , viscid and sticky muscilage , and smears it without a stop till darkness settles . हर सुबह मादा पेड़ों में जाती है और रिसने वाले , लसलसे और चिपचिपे श्लेष्मक की गोलिकाएं लेकर लौटती है तथा अंधेरा घिर आने तक बिना रूके लेप करती रहती है .

The characteristic symptoms are soreness of the mouth , rise in temperature , the animal is wholly off the feed , vesicles appear on the tongue , cheeks and mucous membrane of the trunk . इसके विशिष्ट लक्षण हैं : मुख का दुखना , तापमान बढ़ना और खाना बिल्कुल ही बंद कर देना.जीभ पर , गालों पर और सूंड की श्लेष्मक झिल्ली पर क्षत हो जाना .

The indications of heat in the mare are restlessness , relaxation of the external genital organs , frequent urination , mucous discharges from the vulva and display of keen sexual desire . घोड़ी में गर्मी के लक्षण हैं : बेचैनी , बाहरी प्रजनन अंगों का ढीला पड़ना , बार बार पेशाब आना , भग से श्लेष्मक स्राव निकलना और मेल की तीव्र इच्छा व्यक़्त करना .

It is characterised by the formation of blisters on the mucous membranes of the mouth and on the skin between and above the cleft of the feet , smacking of lips , salivation and lameness . इसके विशेष लक्षण हैं : मुख की श्लेष्मक झिल्लियों पर और पांव की फटान के बीच व ऊपर की चमड़ी पर फफोले पड़ना.ओठों को आवाज करके खोलना व बन्द करना , मुख से लार निकलने लगना और लंगड़ाने लगना .
