Obviously this theory is not objectionable in itself , but just as the element of quietism present in the Indian mind , can , during the periods of decadence , easily lead to inaction , so can predestination easily take the form of fatalism . स्पष्ट है , कि यह धारणा अपने आप में तो आपत्तिजनक नही हैं , किंतु ह्रास के समय , जिस प्रकार भारतीय मस्तिष्क की शांत प्रवृति , उसे निष्क्रियता की ओर ले जाती है , उसी प्रकार नियतिवाद का सिद्धांत भी घातक बन सकता है .
